Services

  • For the over-thinkers who are tired of anxious thoughts taking up way too much “real estate” in their minds. Individual therapy can help you learn the skills to challenge negative, self-critical thoughts, let go of the fear of “what if?” and embrace the possibilities of what’s to come with confidence and optimism.

For individuals looking for a supportive space to understand themselves and ready to create change, I provide weekly one on one sessions where we’ll explore your goals and use practical, evidence-based strategies to achieve them.

  • I am passionate about helping individuals break free from the complex cycles of OCD. I am a member of both the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF) and the Association of I-CBT Providers.

I provide a high-level, specialized treatment model designed for those who are ready to move beyond managing symptoms and start reclaiming their lives.

I utilize a combination of I-CBT and ERP to make recovery more effective and sustainable.

    How It Works:

    • I-CBT (The Logic): This structured, 12-module framework and empowers clients to use logic and insight to understand the tricks of the OCD “conman”.

    • Self Trust over Self Doubt: Once you’ve learned how these tricks work, those intrusive thoughts start to lose their power and the empowering journey to choose self-trust over self-doubt begins.

    • Strategic Exposure: For clients who wish to incorporate exposure, I-CBT provides a powerful foundation of confidence, making ERP feel manageable rather than overwhelming.

This is a targeted, structured treatment and differs from traditional talk therapy.

  • For couples who are finding it hard to speak the same language, even though they love each other. I believe that our relationships are the greatest tool we have for personal growth. Your partner should be a “safe place to land.”

For couples who are interested in resolving conflict, improving communication and fostering a culture of fondness and admiration in their relationship, I offer relationship counseling. Together we’ll find common conflict “pitfalls” and build effective conflict skills also known as “fair fighting rules” using the evidence-based Gottman Method.

Pricing and Fees

  • I am in-network with Aetna plans of New York and New Jersey.

Many insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits, which can cover a portion of your therapy sessions. If I’m not in-network with your insurance, you may still receive reimbursement for our sessions, reducing your out-of-pocket cost. Out-of-network benefits for therapy reimburse on average70% of the session cost. I can help you check your benefits and use Thrizer to submit the out of network claims for you.

  • My self-pay rate is $200 per session for individual therapy and $250 for couples therapy.

If you have out of network benefits, I can assist with submitting of superbills. I also accept HSA and FSA cards as payment.

    Sliding Scale

I offer a sliding scale, meaning a reduced rate for private pay clients who are financially not able to afford the full fee. While I only have a limited amount of sliding scale spots available, I encourage you to reach out and inquire about sliding scale rates if you are interested in working with me but are not able to afford the full session fee.

  • All sessions must be canceled no later than 24 hours in advance to avoid a late cancellation fee of $100.

Your participation in treatment is crucial. Therefore frequent cancellations or no shows may result in a discussion where we’ll explore if the time and cadence of therapy sessions are working for you and make adjustments if necessary.
